Our Holistic Approach to Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine

A dedicated practitioner of holistic medicine since 2001, I love empowering patients to understand their bodies and discover the gentle power of the healing arts.

As a well-renowned Acupuncturist, I enjoy being able to bridge the gap between holistic and western medicine while providing a safe and nurturing atmosphere in which to heal. I am always looking to integrate new treatments and therapies into my practice and believe that continued learning is important for any good Acupuncturist

I have worked in numerous roles within the health industry, from my first part-time job as a nursing home care assistant, to a massage therapist and aromatherapist specialising in dementia care, until I qualified as an acupuncturist in 2011. Throughout this time I have been devoted to working with a wide array of health issues, and thrive on the learning opportunities each client provides. There is no better feeling in the world than seeing my patients leave the clinic after treatment with less pain and lighter in spirit than when they entered.

I practise a combination of two of the most popular forms of traditional acupuncture today. Traditional Chinese Medicine, which is well suited to treating a wide range of physical, mental and emotional symptoms, and the 5-Element style, focusing on treating the underlying constitution of a person, thereby bringing about profound changes in your well-being.

My extensive and ongoing training includes a wide range of specialist acupuncture courses, including: Tung acupuncture, auricular including NADA protocol, pain relief, musculoskeletal and sport’s injuries, women’s health, male and female fertility, IVF and assisted reproduction, endometriosis and PCOS, pregnancy, mental health, anxiety, depression and insomnia.

I am also trained in cupping therapy, guasha, moxibustion, electro-acupuncture, tui na, trigger points and muscle taping to name a few.
I am committed to continuing professional development.

I am a member of, regulated by, licensed and insured with the Associated Acupuncture Clinicians and British Acupuncture Federation. As such I adhere to their Codes of Ethics and Safe Practice. I use disposable needles and follows safety procedures approved by the Department of Health.
